Description

We will be hosting a one-day seminar at our training facility in Cary to better understand, in detail, the causes, goals, and modification methods of high-arousal (excitement, anxiety, fear, stress, and aggression) behavior in dogs to build stronger relationships. This seminar is an interactive power point style presentation with pictures, videos, quizzes, and more!

In this seminar, you will learn:

Different management, DIY, and professional exercises so you can select what route is best for you and your dog.

How to help your dog feel comfortable around new and familiar people, dogs, places, etc.

How dogs learn – so that we can train them on what to do instead of barking, lunging, or hiding behind you.

Why understanding your dog’s unique way of communicating is important.

How dogs develop cognitively, emotionally, and socially and how we can use this information to best help overcome their reactive behavior.

How reading your dog’s body language keeps everybody happy.

Myths about high-arousal behavior, aggression, dog body language, socialization, and more!

Wondering if this workshop is for you?

Does your dog go “over the top” in seemingly normal situations?

Ever lunge, bark, growl, or seem overly excited when seeing people or other dogs (possibly only through a window or when on leash)?

Ever seemed timid, fearful, or nervous when meeting a new person or dog?

Get overly-stimulated, excited, or aggressive about fast-moving objects such as bicycles, squirrels, joggers, or cars?

Jump, bite, or nip at you in frustration that seems to exceed normal dog behavior?

Has your dog growled, showed teeth, snapped at, or bitten a guest or family member?

Does your dog struggle to relax, calm down, focus on, or listen to you, especially outside or in new situations?

Shown signs such as high-pitched repetitive barking/whining, panting, body stiffness, pacing, excessive jumping, or hyper-vigilant when uncomfortable?

Do you want to find out how to calm your dog down and increase the bond with your dog?

If so, this workshop is most definitely for you.

No matter where you are in your training, whether just beginning or a few months in, we can catapult you to a new level of success and understanding. Since this workshop is just a few hours, you won’t even need a dog sitter while you’re away. Please help us spread the word to friends or family members that may need help achieving the same success with their dog.

Space is limited so sign up today to reserve your spot! The full seminar cost is $35 per attendee. Couples may attend together for $60 with coupon code SEM2. If you are an active volunteer with a local animal rescue group, please email us at info@alldogsnc.com about our rescue outreach rates so we can reach more within the rescue community.

Please note: This is a humans-only workshop (please do not bring your dog). In addition, because spots fill up quickly and we cannot accommodate everyone that wishes to sign up, registration fees are non-refundable unless you contact us, in writing, no less than five days before the seminar to advise that you will not be able to make it.
